At the school science fair, Xiaoyu’s creation even helps a cleaner retrieve garbage from a high building, and his teacher says, “This kid’s creativity—he’s a born eco-designer.” Lin finally realizes: “Usefulness” isn’t about copying others’ success—it’s about seeing the light hidden in what others call “unproductive.”
